This mobile game was the second we developed with Random House Digital.
The original idea was a game in which players would drag their fingers to reroute flowing lava oozing from the ever-erupting volcano. After prototyping and testing multiple core mechanics, the game eventually became Catch the Berry (not pictured here) - a physics-based mechanic in which players carefully guide recently-come-to-life berries safely into the hands of the game's hero, Grok. I liked the early designs shown here.
